Missionary Diocese of the Trinity
As you visit the website of the Missionary Diocese of the Trinity (MDT), we pray:
Almighty God, to Whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from Whom no secrets are hidden: cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of Your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love You, and worthily magnify Your holy name; through Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Missionary Diocese of the Trinity is originally an initiative of an evangelical movement and missionary network for grassroots evangelism in North America and Canada. This initiative later developed in two successive steps, firstly as a District (Missionary District of the Trinity – in the Convocation of Anglicans in North America CANA) and secondly as a Diocese-(Missionary Diocese of the Trinity by the General Synod of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion on Friday, September 23, 2011). It is a full fledged ecclesiastical unit but will be operationally as a missionary, evangelical and church planting mission/movement. The MDT will intentionally be preoccupied with evangelism at the grassroots. We are non geographical but cluster of Churches and Congregations in North America and Canada. The MDT is affiliated with CANA and ACNA-Anglican Province in North America.
We are a Diocese within the Anglican Communion composed of believers united by a common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; we maintain and seek to proclaim in word, life and practice the Doctrine and Sacraments instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ; we are seek to be united by a commitment to be Christ-centered and be all inclusive to serve the multicultural and multiracial community of faith that promotes worship and liturgy through the Holy Spirit by relying only on the Word of God.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and [a]forever. Amen. (Jude 1:24-25)
